The Bruckner Journal is published three times a year, in March, July and November - since 1997 - and is available by subscription only.

Volume Twenty-Eight, Number One will be published in March 2025. Should you wish to contribute an article, short essay, letter or comment to the Journal, on any Bruckner-related subject, please contact us.

"Bruckner Now and Then / Bruckner Jetzt und Damals"


An International Congress held in honor of the 200th anniversary of Bruckner’s birth, "Bruckner Now and Then / Bruckner Jetzt und Damals" took place in conjunction with the Brucknertage festival in St Florian. The participants included established scholars, experts in various fields, and some new voices from Germany and Austria, the US, and the UK. Topics ranged from performance and analysis to criticism and the history of Bruckner studies. Free to all particpants, anyone interested in Bruckner and his music was welcome to attend some or all of these sessions!
